API Suite: UPI 2.0 – NPCI User Onboarding & Verification

• Objective

  This API suite provides a standardized mechanism for user verification and registration within the CBS for UPI 2.0. It enables OneStack to:

  • Check User – verify if a user exists in the bank CBS using mobile number and bank ID.
  • Register Existing User – update/activate existing CBS user details for OneStack/UPI.
  • Register New User – create a new customer profile in CBS (where banks allow online onboarding).
