Objective

The Heartbeat API serves as a lightweight health-check mechanism to monitor the availability and operational status of the OneStack CBS UPI module.

It ensures that external systems (such as NPCI, payment service providers, or third-party applications) can validate the liveness and responsiveness of the service in real-time before initiating payment-related transactions.

• Enables real-time monitoring of UPI acceptance service.
• Prevents unnecessary transaction attempts during downtime.
• Facilitates proactive issue detection for smoother UPI operations.
